Moving on.
Thanks to everyone who has commented and sent me heartfelt thoughts regarding the death of my cat, Fatty. It's been such a hard week and I've found myself spiraling down into the depths of depression. But as I fall, I also just stop and think and regather myself. It's time to remember Fatty as a wonderful part of my life and remember that we have a family to grow here. He wouldn't want us moping around too much longer.
I've been knitting a bit and here's a little pic of something that's about 75% done...

It's my take on the Anthropologie-Inspired Capelet (ravelry link) by Julia of Peonyknits! The yarn is fantastic...It's Noro Taiyo, a cotton/wool/silk blend. Love it doesn't begin to describe. I'll definitely be getting more of this colorway to make a scarf for myself this fall. It's my perfect storm of colors...pinks, greens, bronzes, so many different shades of these.
I'm knitting this a little bit longer because I am a buxom gal.
I've finished a cowl, but I just can't seem to get it photographed properly. I'll work on that this week!
This is all the post I can manage right now, I'll try to check in later in the week.
Happy Mother's Day to the mothers out there!

Wow that sure does almost look like mine! ;op
Can't wait to see you model it! Since an easy knit!

I'm sorry about your cat -- that yarn looks absolutely edible. What a nice, comfortable sweater that will make!
